An Unshakable Faith in God

Our ministry continues to make a powerful difference in the lives of struggling children and families in Montgomery every day – in ways you and I could have only imagined a few short years ago. Thank you for standing shoulder to shoulder with me as we purpose to do the work Christ calls us to. Through your support, we are instilling hope, inspiring belief, and equipping our neighbors with the essential life skills to fulfill their God-given purpose as self-sufficient members of the community.

One of our major strategies for eradicating intergenerational poverty is to help children, who have little parental assistance, successfully graduate high school with solid plan for a productive future. I am proud to announce that more than a dozen of our amazing children graduated from schools this year throughout Montgomery.

As we rejoice in their accomplishment-let us acknowledge that it has been a long challenging journey through uncharted circumstances made possible by our unshakable faith in God. Together we provided young people with nutritious food when they were hungry, books and school supplies enabling them to study, clean clothing to wear with dignity, tuition assistance when needed. We provided transportation for children to and from schools throughout the year. Most of all, we provided love given to us from our Father which is in heaven from whom all blessings flow.

One young person who suffered homelessness throughout most of his formative years greeted me after his graduation ceremony with a warm smile and firm handshake saying, “Thank you for seeing God’s plan for my life when others could only see a troubled kid. We had a few rocky moments during our journey, and you could have easily given up on me and my family at any point, but you didn’t.”  What a wonderful testimony. I was careful to let this child know that God did it and utilized you and others who supported this ministry to bring his hopes and dreams to life.  As I stood with this child, you stood with me-thank you.
