Day of Dreams Telethon
We are excited to announce our Day of Dreams Telethon! WSFA has graciously offered to host a telethon on behalf of Mercy House and MAP Center Ministries. To say that we are over the moon with anticipation of what the Lord will do through this event is an understatement. Ephesians 3:20 proclaims “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.” We have claimed this promise for West Montgomery and are praising The Lord in advance for all He is going to do through this telethon.
Since 2004, MAP (Ministry About People) has been making a difference in our community through Mercy House. We have been committed since that time to walk with our neighbors through their struggles and find resources that truly make a difference in their life. We feed the hungry, clothe the poor and share about the One that can truly restore a life, Jesus Christ.
Now MAP is poised to launch a new venture, purposely called the MAP Center. It will be a place that will meet people where they are and give them the opportunities and support they need to realistically change their life both physically and spiritually. The MAP Center will offer job training that will allow people to earn a livable wage. They will offer child care which in turn eliminates a large reason that many people can’t be reliable at their employment. There will be other opportunities for intentionally growing families in a healthy direction. The youth of Washington Park have our heart and we know that investing in them is investing in a much better Montgomery so we will have a Youth Hub at the MAP that will give our students a safe place to study, receive tutoring, explore their future and see the Gospel of Jesus Christ lived out in a way that you can’t walk away from. The MAP Center will truly be a place where meaningful, God-glorifying futures are made.

Call, text or email 10 people and share with them about our Day of Dreams Telethon - Have them mark their calendar for October 26th, 2021 from 6:00am to 7:00pm.
Share either the Mercy House or the WSFA Facebook post to your social media account.
Pray Big Prayers claiming Ephesians 3:20 over our ministry.
On October 26th, encourage people to tune in to WSFA and see what God is doing for His children in West Montgomery through Mercy House and the MAP Center.
Prayerfully consider making an investment in Montgomery by making a pledge to donate to the MAP Center. Challenge your coworkers, family members, golf buddies or neighbors to also invest in this life-changing ministry too.
